  17. Description of Working Group:

  19. This Working Group will consider revisions to the DS1 and DS3 MIBs
  20. (currently published as Proposed Standards in RFC 1232 and RFC 1233) in
  21. preparation for their consideration as Draft Standards.
  22.  
  23. Consistent with the IETF standards process, the Working Group is
  24. chartered to consider only those changes to the DS1 and DS3 MIBs that
  25. are based on implementation experience or on the need to align with
  26. relevant ANSI T1M1 standards. In this context, the Working Group will
  27. thoroughly document the implementation or alignment rationale for each
  28. considered change.

  30. All changes made by the Working Group will be consistent with the
  31. existing SNMP framework and standards --- in particular, those
  32. provisions of RFC 1155 regarding addition and deprecation of objects
  33. in standard SNMP MIBs.
  34.  
  35. This Working Group will be a short-lived activity, involving a single
  36. meeting, and will conclude its business no later than June 1992.

  40.      Done Post a draft version of the new DS1 MIB to the Internet-Drafts 
  41.           Directory.

  43.      Done Post a revised version of the DS3 MIB to the Internet-Drafts 
  44.           Directory.                                                           
  45.  
  46.      Done Submit the DS1 document for the Network Management Directorate 
  47.           Review.                                                              
  48.  
  49.      Done Submit the DS3 MIB to the Network Management Directorate for review. 
  50.  
  51.      Done Submit the DS1 MIB to the IESG for Draft Standard Status.            
  52.  
  53.      Done Submit the DS3 MIB to the IESG for approval as a Draft Standard.
